Ion Exchange to diversify into biomass power

Ion Exchange India, an industrial water treatment company is venturing into biomass power generation with joint-venture from Waterleu, a Belgium based environmental technology company. It will use gasification of bio solids and waste and will set up projects with a capacity of 14 MW. The projects will require garbage of 900 tonnes daily to generate 14 MW of power.
