Chind Iron & Steel Industries to set up 8 MW Biomass based power plant at Chorha in Durg district of Chhattisgarh. The project will use coal and rice husk in the ratio of 25:75. The land requirement is 4.3 acres. AFBC boilers will be installed. DM plant will be installed to meet the water requirement. Air-cooled condensers will be provided. However, the project may use only rice husk and avoid coal.
