Dwarikesh Sugars to set up 8 MW biomass project at Medhpura Sultan in Bijnor district of Uttar Pradesh. The project involves setting up of a 8 MW extraction cum condensing turbine and a boiler capable of burning bagasse as fuel. It will have a capacity of 81 tonnes/hour and will generate 120 tonnes of steam /hour and is supplied by Triveni. The project had been completed in 2006.
