S M Environmental Technologies to set up 8 MW biomass project in village Pachhar in Chipabarod Tehsil in Baran district of Rajasthan. The project involves setting up of a boiler of capacity 40 tph which will use agricultural wastes, mainly mustard residues, available in the area surrounding the plant. The project had been commissioned in 2009.

Sathyam Power Pvt. Ltd to set up 10 MW Power Plant at village Punjiyas and Jaroda Kala in Merta taluk in Nagaur district of Rajasthan. The land requirement is 10.4 ha (1,04,000 sq.m.). Biomass i.e. mustard husk and agro waste will be the main fuel and coal / lignite (upto 15%) will be the supportive fuel. Water cooled condensers will be provided. Water requirement is estimated as 177 m3/day, which will be obtained from bore well.

Biomass i.e. mustard residue and agro waste will be the main fuel and coal / lignite (upto 15%) will be the supportive fuel. Air cooled condensers will be provided. Water requirement is estimated as 91 m3/day, which will be obtained from bore well.
