The project involves setting up of high pressure boiler and a turbine of 35 tph capacity supplied by Cethar Vessels, generator arrangement with maximum output capacity of 6.0MW which will use rice husk and other agri residues as fuel. However, it will use some small amounts of coal during startups. The project had been commissioned in 2008
