Sukbhir Agro Energy is planning to set up a two paddy processing plant and a 14.5 MW cogeneration plant in the districts Ferozepur  district of Punjab. The company had also recently set up a 14.5 MW biomass plant at Muktsar district of Punjab through its group company Universal Bio-Mass Energy Pvt Ltd. It had established 40 collection centres in the districts of Muktsar, Bathinda, Mansa and neighbouring states.
