MPRL Renewable Energy to set up biomass project in Punjab. The project involves setting up of a 6 MW biomass unit in village Binjon in Grahshankar district and another 6 MW unit in Deepsinghwala village in Faridkot district of Punjab. The biomass unit will be based on Rankine cycle and bio fuels like paddy straw, wheat straw, cane trash, mustard and eucalyptus branches etc., The project will be commissioned in September 2010
